- Alliance Background
June 1, 2006
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Construction Careers Center (CCC) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful workplaces. OSHA and the CCC hereby form an Alliance to provide CCC students, faculty and others in the construction industry with information, guidance and access to training resources that will help them to increase employees’ awareness of safety and health issues particularly in reducing and preventing exposure to electrical, fall, struck-by, and crushed-by hazards.
OSHA and the CCC will work together to achieve the following training and education goal:
- Develop training and education programs to prevent exposure to electrical, fall, struck by, and
crushed-by hazards that will be presented at CCC and other locations.
- Implementation Team Meetings
During the course of this evaluation period, Mike Minicky discussed informally (through e-mail, telephone, and in-person) the safety and health training needs of the students at the Construction Careers Center.
