Alliance Program Forum

OSHA established the Alliance Program Forum in May 2018 to bring Alliance Program participants and other stakeholders together to discuss and share information on workplace safety and health. Through the Forum, participants receive OSHA and NIOSH updates, network, and share safety and health compliance assistance tools and other resources for workers and employers. The Forum will convene once per year.

During the September 29, 2026, meeting, Arlene Williams, Acting Director, Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs (DCSP), welcomed the group and thanked participants for their continued partnership and commitment to helping employers strengthen their safety and health programs and achieve lasting improvements in workplace safety. David L. Keeling, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, provided remarks and thanked the group for their continued support of OSHA’s Alliance Programs, initiatives, and national enforcement initiatives.  Other presenters included Kenneth Koroll, Safety and Health Specialist, Directorate of Construction (DOC); Donald Peterson, Director of for Construction Safety and Health, National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH); Andy Levinson, Director, Directorate of Standards and Guidance, Erin Gilmore, Acting Deputy Director, Directorate of Enforcement Programs (DEP) and Dr. Bhandari, Director of Research, Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA). The afternoon session started with an update from Stephanie Johnson, CSP, CHMM, American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) which was then followed by a group discussion on SIF and AI that gave attendees a chance to collaborate and interact with OSHA subject matter experts. In addition, Jessie Torres and Mike Hill from Construction Safety Week Alliance provided updates. Lastly, Tina Jones, Director, Office of Outreach Services and Alliances, wrapped up by providing attendees with an Alliance Program update, information on bi-annual data submissions and as well as closing remarks.
