Office of State Programs
State Plans
The Office of State Programs' (OSP) mission is to ensure that OSHA-approved State Plans are at least as effective (ALAE) in protecting workers and preventing work-related injuries, illnesses, and deaths as stated in the OSH Act of 1970. OSP provides oversight of the 28 State Plans, and promotes open communication and collaboration between OSHA and its State Plan partners.
