Featured Areas
The stacker is a bottom tool that pushes the parts upward through the plastic web. The tooling for the stacker is usually made from wood or aluminum and the operation can be automatically performed by a robotic process. This is the top of the Hang Hole Remover. This device acts as a stripper and separator and removes internal die cuts. [Photo description: The highlighted area includes silver, black, and orange moving metal parts of the machine.] View close-up
The trim station holds the trim die. The sharp knives used on the trim die can cause cuts. Appropriate PPE must be worn when working around these knives. Working on the trim dies requires proper lockout and tagout including blocking to prevent possible crushing and amputation injuries.
