Safe + Sound Week
Participate in Safe + Sound Week 2025: August 11-17, 2025
Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August that recognizes the successes of workplace safety and health programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe. This year Safe + Sound Week will provide resources and activities for businesses on emergency preparedness and response that can be done at work or at home.
Why Participate?
Successful safety and health programs can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury of illness, improving sustainability and the bottom line. Participating in Safe + Sound Week can help get your program started, energize an existing one, or provide a chance to recognize your safety and health accomplishments. Participating in Safe + Sound Week is easy and fun!
Who Participates?
All organizations looking for an opportunity to recognize their commitment to safety and health are welcome to participate. Last year, more than 5,000 businesses helped raise awareness about workers’ safety and health!

2. Find Materials and Activities
Plan and promote events for your workplace or community. Check out our activities, graphics, flyers, and other resources.
3. Recognize Your Participation
After you’ve completed your events, you can download a certificate and virtual challenge coin to recognize your organization by taking our survey.
Join the Movement
Safe + Sound Week is a time to take action and reflect on and recognize the efforts you have made to improve workplace safety and health throughout the year.
