Safe + Sound Week, August 7-13, 2023 Year in Review. Thinking outside the box for safer workplaces. This year, Safe + Sound Week expanded in new directions and reached more workers. Support Safety as a Core Value: "Promotes workplace safety and health, raises awareness about the importance of creating safe work environments, and encourages collaboration among employers, employees, and organizations." Engage Spanish-Speaking Workers: "Being a bilingual activity is a plus, since most of our manufacturing jobs, across the USA, are done by Latino workers." Focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing: "Gave us the opportunity to candidly talk about mental health issues in our industry, as well as resources available to our workers." 43,000 Resource Downloads from our Safe + Sound webpages. 1,100 People on Social Media mentioned Safe + Sound Week reaching 10.9M followers. 416,692 Workers Reached with safety and health resources. 230 partners + 7 Organizers supported our goal of a safety and health program in every workplace. 3,900+ Businesses took the Safe + Sound Week pledge and held events. osha.gov/safeandsound
