Employee Killed By Burns From An Explosion

On October 3, 1999, Employee #1 died from burns as a result of an explosion, which originated in the press enclosure. The fire and explosion occurred because of inadequate fire prevention practices at the plant. The source of the fire was a combination of wood dust and other combustible residue which had accumulated in the upper levels of the press enclosure.
