At 10:30 p.m. on August 8, 2018, an employee was installing a steel nozzle while the Elmor Mayonnaise Filler Machine was turning. The employee pinched his left hand's ring finger between a stainless steel plate and the nozzle handle, amputating his fingertip. The employee was hospitalized.
