    Title: Safety Net Systems
    Type: Text and Image Slide

These nets have been positioned to prevent falls to the interior of the building. Employers should consult the manufacture's instructions and/or a registered professional engineer to ensure proper installation of the net and bracing of the stud walls. Give due consideration to the potential impact load on the net and lateral load on the stud walls in the event of a fall.

At the bottom left is slide number 32.

At the bottom right is OSHA's logo.

[Includes two images side-by-side, the left image is of a worker walking above a safety net positioned to prevent the working from contacting the lower level. The right image shows a safety net going across the top of two walls underneath the ceiling trusts.]

    Speaker Notes:

This slide shows safety nets in place and positioned to prevent a worker from contacting the lower surface.
