Background:

In a continued effort to promote safety and health for employees working in the residential construction industry, the Home Builders Association (HBA) of St. Louis & Eastern Missouri and OSHA's St. Louis Area Office and Kansas City Area Office, in conjunction with the Carpenters' Union, renewed their OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP) on August 21, 2006. The OSP is scheduled to close in August of 2009.

Background:

In January 2006, the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield (HBAGS), OSHA's Region VII, Kansas City Area Office, and the Missouri Consultation Program signed an OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP) agreement. The key purpose of the Partnership is to promote a safety and health culture and reduce injuries and illnesses in the residential construction industry.

Background:

The Appleton Area OSHA Office, Calpine Corporation, and the Wisconsin Safety and Health Consultation Program joined together to form a Partnership during the construction of the Fox Energy Center. The Center is a 550-mega watt power plant that was constructed in Kaukauna, Wisconsin at a cost of approximately $380 million. All contractors and labor organizations working at the site were partners and were active in the Partnership.

Background:

On September 26, 2008, Reinhart Construction Company and S.M. Wilson, in a joint venture, formed an OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP) with OSHA's Region VII, Kansas City Area Office, to reduce occupational fatalities and serious injuries. The primary purpose of the OSP is to create a working relationship that will allow participants to promote safety and health during the construction of the new Boone Hospital Patient Tower Project.

Background:

On September 25, 2007, the SM Wilson and Company formed an OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP) with OSHA Region VII's St. Louis Area Office to promote safety and health during the construction of the new Bio-Medical Research Building #1 at the Washington University of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital Campus. The partnership included 71 project subcontractors, the St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council, and the Carpenters District Council of Greater St. Louis.

Ameren Missouri and MC Industrial Achieved no OSHA Recordable Injuries or Illnesses


Background:

On May 8, 2014, OSHA's St. Louis Area Office and MC Industrial signed an OSHA Strategic Partnership agreement (OSP), for the construction of the Ameren Missouri's O'Fallon Renewable Energy Center in O'Fallon, Missouri.

St. Louis Area Office staff, MC Industrial safety and health professionals, and six project subcontractors recognized the need for a safe and healthy jobsite. The overarching goal of this partnership agreement was to help ensure a safe work environment for all employees during the construction of the energy center.
