Employee Fractures Pelvis in Fall from a Tree

At approximately 4:15 p.m. on November 27, 2012, Employee #1, a Foreman, was performing tree-trimming work. The employee took his spikes out of the tree to lean closer to another tree. Employee #1 fell approximately 15 ft landing on the ground. The employee was transported to Stanford Hospital, where he was treated for pelvis fractures. Employee #1 was hospitalized for more than twenty-four hours.
