Employee Sustains Burns from Gas Drum Explosion

At approximately 6:37 p.m., on October 5, 2012, Employee #1 of Ultimate Garage Floor Coat sustained burns to his stomach, left forearm, face and right hand while trying to dispose of an old gas drum that had been drained but still contained gas residue. Employee #1 was taken to Monterey Community Hospital then transferred to Santa Clara Valley Hospital where he remained for 24 hours.
