Employee Injurs Thumb in Conveyor Accident

At approximately 1:25 p.m. on September 18, 2012, Employee #1, a temporary worker, received a hand injury while in the course of his normal work duties as an assistant maintenance employee. Employee #1 was speaking to a coworker, when he somehow got his right thumb caught in a running conveyor roller system. Employee #1 was taken to a local hospital for surgery on his thumb, he was released the same day.
