Investigation Summary
At approximately 5:20 p.m. on August 9, 2013, an employee, a machine operator was walking along path of conveyor line. As she got to the end of conveyor line to make a right towards restrooms, a coworker, a lid hauler, was pushing a cart full of lids along the path. Apparently, the employee was struck from the back as she attempted to beat the cart on the path. She fell forward, falling on her left wrist and fracturing her wrist and injuring her left arm and left hip. The employee was transported to the Memorial Hospital in Modesto, CA, where she was hospitalized and treated for her injuries.
