Employee Amputates Fingers When Contacting Saw Blade

On January 23, 2013, Employee #1 was operating a Striebig Panel Sawing machine. The employee's hand was caught between the squeeze points of the saw and contacted the saw blade. Employee #1 was transported to an area hospital, where he had surgery on the amputated index and middle fingers on his left hand. Employee #1 remained hospitalized.
