At approximately 2:00 p.m. on March 15, 2013, Employee #1, a plasterer employed by Quality Plastering Inc., was working at a new residential construction site. He was applying a finish coat of plaster to a retaining wall. A swarm of bees appeared. Employee #1 attempted to run from the swarm. He slipped and fell over the wall, incurring serious injury. Employee #1 was transported to Cottage Hospital, where he was admitted and treated for a right elbow fracture and a right arm fracture. He required hospitalization for three days.
