Employee Loses Finger in Framing Accident

At approximately 9:20 a.m. on January 18, 2013, Employee #1, a framer, suffered a finger amputation while operating a circular hand saw. Employee #1 was performing the duties of a framer, including sawing off a piece of a piece of wood, when he amputated his left middle finger with a circular hand saw. Employee #1 was transported to a local hospital for initial treatment, and later that day to a state hand center for surgery.
