Employee Gets Hands Injured While Working on Some Rollers

At approximately 8:30 a.m. on October 7th, 2012 Employee #1 was loading plastic into the unprotected un guarded in running rollers on the payout machine. At the time of the accident Employee #1 was loading a new roll of plastic sheet into the running rollers of the payout machine. Employee #1 did not stop the Payout machine before loading the plastic into the running rollers and the rollers caught Employee #1's left hand in the rollers. Employee #1 was taken to a local area hospital for cuts and lacerations to his hand, and later released.
