Employee Is Killed When Pinned Between Trailers

At approximately 12:06 a.m. on August 4, 2011, Employee #1 drove his tractor-trailer into a parking lot and backed up the trailer to offload its cold storage material onto another trailer. He parked in close proximity to the other trailer. Employee #1 exited the tractor to engage the legs of the tractor. As he engaged the legs, the trailer began to roll and pinned him between both trailers. Employee #1 sustained crushing injuries that killed him.
