Employee Fractures Arm Reaching Into Cherry Picker Machine

At 10:25 a.m. on February 14, 2012, the cherry picking crew was processing the final few cherries. For some reason, Employee #1 reached in the back of a cherry pitter and got his sweatshirt caught in an unguarded shaft. Employee #1 was air lifted to OHSU in Portland, Oregon, where he was hospitalized for treated of two compound fractures to his right arm.
