Investigation Summary
On March 30, 2012, Employee #1 was supervising a special education student at the playground identified as the blacktop right by the hand ball court when she tripped over a rolling ball and fell to the ground. She extended her left arm in an attempt to brace herself from hitting the ground and broke her wrist as she landed. Paramedics arrived shortly after to provide first aid and Employee #1 was taken to Mission Hospital where she was treated for a compound fracture to her left wrist.
