Employee Amputates Finger in Pasta Cutting Machine

At approximately 1:20 p.m. on March 9, 2012, Employee #1 was oiling the chain and sprocket on a Capitani pasta cutting machine, (Model TS250, Serial Number 28030). The employee's fingers were caught in the gear of the cutting machine. Employee #1 was taken to an area hospital, where the employee was treated and amputation of right hand middle finger. Employee #1 remained hospitalize overnight.
