Employee Is Injured When Power Cord Arcs

On February 2, 2012, Employee #1, a test engineer with a company that manufactured electrical components for the U.S. Department of Defense, was unplugging the power cord of a Horizon 4085X Automatic Wafer Prober. When it suddenly arced, he sustained an electric shock and a minor burn on his right palm. Employee #1 temporarily lost consciousness. He was hospitalized for treatment.
