Employee Dies Due to Complications from a Previous Workplace

On January 30, 2012, Employee #1 of American Nostalgia died from complications related to epilepsy. Since 2007, Employee #1 had permanent neurologic impairment and recurring epileptic seizures after falling off a stepladder while at work. As a result of these alleged permanent disorders, on January 22, 2012, Employee #1 suffered a grand mal seizure that left her with permanent brain injury and she died on January 30, 2012.
