Employee Is Killed When Struck by Motor Vehicle

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on January 11, 2012, Employee #1 was struck and killed by a passing motor vehicle. On that day, employees were setting up the MOT in the left lane of SR 826, southbound of south Bird Rd in the city of Miami, FL. The vehicle that hit the employee was traveling south on SR 826, when the driver lost control and went between the Florida Highway Patrol motor vehicle controlling the traffic and the MOT truck that was placing the cones for the traffic control. The employee was struck by the vehicle and died on January 13, 2012.
