Employee Hits Head in Fall from Truck Onto Parking Lot

At 10:30 a.m. on August 1, 2012, Employee #1, a full-time, regular employee of Pacific Event Production, Inc. sustained a serious injury to her head. Pacific Event Production, Inc. is a party production company that has been serving San Diego for the past 22 years. Employee #1 apparently had not been feeling well, so she made contact with her private physician who prescribed some medication. Employee #1 left the worksite and later came back to get her tools. Employee #1 got on the truck, got her tools, but fell backwards off the truck, hitting her head on the asphalt parking lot. Employee #1 was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she stayed for over two days.
