Investigation Summary
At approximately 4:30 p.m. on April 3, 2012, an employee was working as a carpenter for Redemption Construction. Workers for the firm were replacing fascia board on a private residential complex. The employee was injured when the ladder he was on while working slipped and fell. He sustained fracture dislocations of the right wrist and right ankle. The accident was caused because the ladder was not secured to prevent it from slipping. The owner of Redemption Construction reported this accident to the San Diego District office ten days after the accident.
