Employee Is Struck and Injured by Passing Vehicle

At approximately 8:15 a.m. on February 17, 2012, Employee #1 walked northbound along the brush management road in the Rose Canyon Operations yard. He did not pay attention and had gone to the right of the breezeway and walked fast then jogged into oncoming traffic and was struck by an oncoming truck. Employee #1 was transported to UCSD Hospital in Hillcrest where he stayed longer than 24 hours for other than observation and was treated for unspecified fractures.
