Employee Falls from a Portable Scaffold

At approximately 10:20 a.m. on November 14, 2012, Employee #1, a carpenter with Bay Area Construction Framers, Inc., fell from a portable scaffold. The distance of the fall was found to be seven feet, nine inches. Employee #1 was taken to Eden Medical Center for treatment by the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department shortly after 10:30 a.m. Employee #1 sustained a fractured cheek bone, loss of a front tooth, and a broken wrist. He was released from Eden Medical Center on November 15, 2014.
