Employee Injured in Classroom

Employee #1 was assisting a special education student when the student became frustrated with the lesson and began making vocalizations demonstrating his frustration. The student and Employee #1 stood up at the same time and the student lunged toward Employee #1 and shoved her backwards resulting in her falling and breaking an ankle. Employee #1 was taken to local hospital by ambulance where she was kept for more than a day for treatment.
