Employee Is Run over by Snow Removal Vehicle and Is Killed

At approximately 5:00 a.m. on February 8, 2011, an employee was walking in the parking lot between the maintenance shop and vehicle garage. A coworker was backing a snow removal vehicle, Model: Ford F250 Super Duty Truck; VIN: 1FTNF21598EC93051, out of the garage. The coworker backed over the employee crushing his head with the driver's side rear wheel and also the passenger's front wheel while attempting to perform a three point turn. The coworker felt a thud but thought it was snow on the ground. The coworker looked in rearview mirror and saw the employee lying prone on the ground. The coworker immediately got out of the vehicle and ran over to help the employee. The coworker started yelling for help and rolled the employee over attempted to take a pulse and couldn't find one. Other workers from within the maintenance shop came to assist the coworker and called emergency medical services. The employee died from injuries suffered at the scene.
