Arm Caught in Conveyor Roller

At approximately 7:15 a.m. on December 2, 2011, Employee #1 sustained an arm injury while in the course of his normal work duties as general floor help. Employee #1 was assisting the movement of a conveyor belt by pulling on it near an unguarded belt pulley. Employee #1's arm was pulled into the in-running nip point as the belt started moving again. He sustained multiple fractures to his left arm, was taken and released from a local hospital that same day.
