Employee Suffers Eye Injury Due to a Chemical Splash

At approximately 1:46 p.m. on August 16, 2011 Employee #1 attempted to open a vacuumed feed bag which was sprayed with clidox earlier to disinfect the bag at the counter in the clean room. While opening the bag a drop or residue of clidox splashed into Employee #1's right eye. There were no actual witnesses to the accident. Employee #1 was taken to a local hospital and was released after four hours, where he suffered redness and irritation to his right eye.
