Employee's Hand Is Amputated When Caught in Machine

On July 16, 2010, Employee #1 was feeding plastic film through a Cott Machine. He placed both hands in the machine while it was running and instructed another employee to advance the machine. When the machine cycled, his hand was caught and amputated. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
