Employee Suffers Concussion from Slip and Fall

On May 26, 2011, an employee was walking down a hallway on the second floor towards other room away from the office she worked in. As she was walking, she slipped in water that had accumulated on the floor from a drain on the third floor. The employee received an head injury from the fall. The employee was transported by ambulance to Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay. She was then airlifted to Legacy Emanuel in Portland with a head injury. The employee was admitted to the hospital and treated for concussion.
