Employee Slips on Roof, Falls to Ground Below, Fractures Leg

On November 4, 2011, Employee #1 was roofing a custom, single-family residence. He slipped and slid down the roof before falling approximately 16 feet to the ground below. He complained of pain from his left leg and was transported to the nearest hospital by a coworker. Employee #1 was seen in the emergency room and admitted for surgery to repair his fractured lower leg. He was released from the hospital the following day.
