Worker Is Electrocuted after Falling Into Switch Gear

On April 15, 2010, Employee #1, of Ozarks Electric Cooperative Corporation, was pulling a new 25 KV wire for a new sub-division. Employee #1 was attempting to pour Lubaduk, conduit lubrication, from a 5-gallon bucket to help the wire slide easier. While pouring, he slipped on the unlevel ground and fell into the buss of the switch gear, which was energized. Employee #1 was hospitalized and later died of electrocution.
