Employee Loses Fingers in Skill Saw Accident

Employee #1 was seriously injured when a skill saw he was using to perform a pocket cut on a piece of wood kicked back. Employee #1 immediately tried to grab the skill saw which was about to fall to the ground causing his left hand to make contact with the rotating blade. Employee #1 sustained tip amputations to the left pinky and left ring fingers and total amputation to the middle left finger. Employee #1 was brought to an area hospital for treatment of his injury, and later released.
