Investigation Summary
On September 24, 2009, an electrician was stripping an energized 120 VAC circuit conductor/wire in order to hook up a motorized damper on an HVAC system. He sustained an electrical burn to his left wrist. In addition, the employee sustained a sprain to his right wrist, a contusion to his chin, and a chipped tooth caused by a fall from the ladder on which he was standing when he contacted the live electrical circuit.
