Employee Collapses and Sustains Facial Injuries

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on March 18, 2013, Employee #1 was walking and talking with a coworker in the Maintenance Department of a municipal solid waste transfer facility. As they were traveling, Employee #1 collapsed to the ground for an unknown reason. He struck the concrete walkway and sustained facial injuries. Employee #1 was transported to a medical center, where he underwent treatment and was then hospitalized.
