Employee Falls with Ladder and Receives Fractures

At approximately 8:30 a.m. on September 15, 2011, Employee #1, a construction inspector, was descending from the patio roof decking of a multi-unit residential building via a 20 ft extension ladder. As he descended, the ladder moved to the side and out. Employee #1 fell with the ladder. He landed on a tiled floor in the patio, falling approximately 9 ft and sustaining unspecified fractures. Employee #1 was transported to a medical center, where he underwent treatment and was hospitalized for postoperative care.
