Employee Suffers Multiple Fractures in Fall

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on September 20, 2011, a full time regular employee of American Concrete Cutting, Inc., was working at an industrial site in Moreno Valley, CA 92553. The employee fell from a second-story mezzanine. He was transported and admitted to Riverside County Regional Medical Center. He was diagnosed with multiple body system fractures. On September 30, 2011, he was transferred to Casa Colima Rehabilitation facility in Pomona, CA. He was discharged on October 18, 2011. The employer reported this accident to Cal/OSHA San Bernardino Office at 11:06 a.m. on September 21, 2011.
