Employee Is Injured in Fall from Ladder

On August 12, 2009, Employee #1, who was employed by the Fremont Unified School District in Fremont, CA, lost his footing while descending an 8-foot step ladder. Employee #1 fell approximately 4 feet and hit his head on the concrete floor. He sustained a head injury and lost consciousness. Employee #1 was taken by ambulance to the hospital and he was hospitalized.
