Employee Has Finger Injured in Conveyor

Employee #1 was responding to a jam that had occurred at a pin roller while attempting to trouble shoot. While pointing his finger at the suspected culprit of the jam, Employee #1 became distracted by a coworker and subsequently, made contact with the moving rollers. Employee #1 immediately felt the sharp pain and pulled his finger out, and as a result he sustained a deglove to his right index finger. Employee #1 was taken to a Medical Center by a coworker, later, the tip of his finger was amputated as a result of a surgical procedure to close the wound.
