Fractured leg after slip and fall

On February 12, 2010, after a slip and fall, Employee #1 sustained fractures to the right leg requiring hospitalization in excess of 24 hours. Employee #1 was at the creamery, a refrigerated facility where crates of milk are distributed. Employee #1 was diverting a row of milk crates from one area to another by means of a mechanical shunt on the west side of the facility. When Employee #1 went to walk from one side of the crate conveyor, he slipped and fell to the ground. Extent of the injury required subsequent surgery.
