Employee Is Injured in Fall from Platform

On May 20, 2009, Employee #1 was occupying a 30 ft high platform without any fall protection. A portion of the platform's guardrail had been removed. During the work, he fell from the platform, falling into a dumpster. He struck the dumpster and sustained lacerations, and other unspecified injuries. Employee #1 was transported to a medical center, where he underwent treatment and was hospitalized.
