Worker Dies from Non-Work Related Heart Attack

On August 22, 2009, a seasonal worker employed by Olam Tomato Processors, Inc., was cleaning-up in the facility's paste and preparation area. While working, he suffered a fatal heart attack related to a preexisting medical condition. His death was determined to be nonwork related. Despite attempts by coworkers and personnel from the Williams Fire Department to revive him, the worker died at the scene.
