Employee Amputates Finger While Using Skilsaw

On April 27, 2009, Employee #1 was cutting fiberglass tile trim (truncated dome) for a sidewalk. He was using a new Skilsaw. The saw kicked up and caught his left middle finger, amputating it at the distal phalangeal joint. He was not hospitalized for his injury.
