Employee Fractures Feet in Fall from Ladder

At approximately 3:10 p.m. on November 18, 2009, Employee #1, a maintenance man, was using a ladder to take a measurement for extending electrical service to an area of the facility. As he climbed the unsecured portable 24-ft ladder, which was propped against the wall, it slid out from under him. He fell six feet to the concrete floor, and suffered multiple fractures to both feet. Employee #1 was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
