Investigation Summary
On January 18, 2009, Employee #1 was loading the Number 3 straightener press when the load shifted toward him. The inlet table a frame stand raised off the floor and the loose tubes pinned him against the last discharge buck of the saw. Employee #1 received crushing injuries to his pelvis and abdominal area and was hospitalized.
